Yvette Carte-Blanche is a fictional main character in the BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo!, which ran from 1982 to 1992. She is played by the actress Vicki Michelle.

Yvette works as the head waitress during World War II at Café René, but at night she makes money as a prostitute. Although she sells her body for paraffin, gasoline, sugar and butter, her only true love is René Artois. She is famous for her saying "Oh René" in a long growling tone. They are often caught by René's wife, Madame Edith, but the unfaithful husband always has a proper explanation for his behaviour, always beginning with "You stupid woman!".

Yvette's best friend is Maria Recamier, another café waitress, but Maria goes missing after series 3; she posts herself to Switzerland by mistake. After that, the Resistance member Mimi Labonq is hired as staff, but Yvette and Mimi develop quite a rivalry, usually beginning with Yvette making a joke about Mimi's small stature and ending with a catfight between the two.

In the final episode, many years after the war, her happy ending is fulfilled. The series ends with a Senior René and Yvette driving off and eloping to Spain. Rene is around 96 and Yvette is in her 80 's

Yvette has given an explanation as to why she loves Rene so much. " He is an incredible lover, he sends shivers up and down my spine being with him is like watching a fantastic movie with Boris Karloff."

Vicki Michelle returned to the role of Yvette in the 2008 stage production of 'Allo 'Allo!. She is the only original member of the cast.

Rene Artois Jr. is the "adopted" son of Rene Artois and Yvette Carte Blanche.

He appears in the very last episode of "Allo Allo" A Winkle in Time. It is stated that the young child was " left on the doorstep" of the café. The Senior Rene and Yvette is said to say to their old German friends "We told him that I was his father." " to spear him the shame." Implying that the boy is possibly their natural child after (48) years. The young Rene has inherited the café and runs it. He never knows what became of his father and his mother after they elope to Spain!

Little information is giving about this man who is the exact replica of Rene Artois Senior.

Yvette has a protective streak when it comes to Rene, it is said that if he was ever killed she would take her own life for she "could not live without him."

Yvette and Rene are engaged to each other. But mostly all their plans to be together is always thwarted by Rene's shrill crowing wife Edith.

The Complete War Diaries of Rene Artois is just fan merchandise that came after the 5th season. The contents are inaccurate to the series.

Fan Theories have stated that Yvette did marry Rene after they eloped. Unlike her "Secret Army" counterpart Monique Duchamp's.

Yvette is more than just Rene's waitress but his Mistress and his Eternal Beloved.

There is no info on Yvette's father or her cousins.

It is unknown how Yvette met Rene but there is a theory that they met when Yvette was on her nightly rounds having it be love at first sight.

Yvette's favorite color is red.
