Yusuf Kenan Kars (born on October 15, 1998) is a Turkish ice hockey defenseman. He plays for Erzurum BB GSK and is a member of the Turkey men's national ice hockey team. The 1.65 m (5 ft 5 in) tall defender at 60 kg (130 lb) shoots left-handed.[1]

Playing career

Club

Yusuf Kars began to play ice hockey for Erzurum Gençlik SK in the Turkish Ice Hockey First League .[1][2] He transferred in the 2015–16 TBHSL season to the Erzurum Büyükşehir Belediyesi GSK in the same city, which compete in the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League.[3]

International

Yusuf Kars took part for the Turkey U-18 team at the IIHF World U18 Championships in 2015 in Auckland, New Zealand and 2016 in Sofia, Bulgaria.[1]

He played at the 2016 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Division III matches held in Mexico City, Mexico as a member of the Turkey U-20 team.[1]

In 2016, he played for the Turkey men's national ice hockey team to play at the IIHF World Championship Division III in Istanbul, Turkey.[1]
