Yagit (lit. Trash / English: The Street Urchins) is a Philippine drama series by GMA Network starring Jaypee de Guzman, Janet Elisa Giron, Jocelyn Dela-Cruz and Tom-tom.

Created by Eddie Ilarde and Jose Miranda Cruz,[1][2] the series premiered on April 25, 1983 and became a household name. Due to its phenomenal success, the series made into a movie adaptaion produced by Viva Films titled, Mga Batang Yagit under a direction by Leroy Salvador in 1984.[1][3][4] It was lasted until August 2, 1985, replacing Amorsola.

GMA later remake a classic series in 2014.[1]
