Yafa
"Yāfā" may also refer to the transliteration of the Arabic name of Jaffa or the Arab Israeli village Yafa an-Naseriyye.
"Yafa" may also refer to the Israeli singer Yafa Yarkoni.
Yafa (Arabic: يافع, [Yāfiʿ]) is a state in southern Yemen. Situated northeast of the city of Aden, it is composed of Upper Yafa and Lower Yafa.
The name Yafa denotes both the geographical area as well as the tribe or tribes inhabiting it. In ancient times, it was also referred to as Dosom or Saro Hemiar.
