Xue Song (badminton)

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Xue.

Xue Song (Chinese: 薛松, born 22 January 1994),[1] is a Chinese badminton player who specializes in men's singles. He first attracted international attention when he defeated 2010 champion Viktor Axelsen at the 2012 World Junior Championships and went on to reach the final, where he lost to Kento Momota.[2]

In 2013, Xue reached two Grand Prix finals at age nineteen, then just days after his 20th birthday, he won his first Grand Prix Gold title, the 2014 India Open Grand Prix Gold. He followed that up with a title at the Macau Open later the same year.
