WrestleCon (or Wrestle Con) is a professional wrestling event, and fan convention, founded in 2005. The event takes place annually during WWE's WrestleMania weekend.

On April 6, 2013, Chikara took part in WrestleCon, held during the WrestleMania 29 weekend in Secaucus, New Jersey, holding an event, which again broke the promotion's attendance record.[1]

After 18 months off due to injury, it was announced on February 11, 2013, that Serena Deeb would make her return to the ring for Shimmer Women Athletes as part of WrestleCon on April 6, 2013.[2]

On February 20, 2013, The Ultimate Warrior confirmed on his official YouTube channel that he would be making an appearance at WrestleCon at WrestleMania 29 on April 7, 2013. In the same clip he spoke positively about Vince McMahon for the first time on his channel. His appearance was so popular that a second print run of tickets had to be ordered.[3]

At WrestleCon 2013, Jake "The Snake" Roberts announced his desire to return to WWE as a participant in Royal Rumble 2014.[4]

On April 4, 2014, Masato Tanaka returned to the United States, he performed at his first WrestleCon defeating Kevin Steen. Later in the night he defeated Chris Hero at a Dragon Gate USA event.[5]

It was announced in early February 2015, that Austin Aries had been added to the WWNLive Supershow at WrestleCon. It was then revealed that Austin Aries would reunite with Roderick Strong as Generation Next for the first time in almost four years to battle Ricochet and Uhaa Nation in a tag team match. [6][7][8]
