Metallica concert chronology

The WorldWired Tour is an ongoing concert tour by American thrash metal band Metallica in support of their tenth studio album Hardwired... To Self-Destruct, which was released on November 18, 2016. It is also their first world tour after the World Magnetic Tour eight years ago.

The tour started on September 27, 2016 in New York City, followed by two benefit shows in Mountain View late-October and a five-date South American tour. They currently are doing select shows before beginning their upcoming stadium world tour in Asia this January 2017, and will move forward to announce shows for the rest of the world.

A scheduled performance at Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio has been announced along with other festival appearances at Lollapalooza in Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
