Woodman is an unincorporated community in Mendocino County, California.^[1] It is located near the mouth of Woodman Creek on the Eel River and Northwestern Pacific Railroad^[2] 8 miles (13 km) west-southwest of Covelo,^[3] at an elevation of 869 feet (265 m).^[1]

A post office operated at Woodman from 1922 to 1925.^[3]
