Winnie the Pooh's Home Run Derby (Japanese: くまのプーさんのホームランダービー Hepburn: Kuma no Pū-san no Hōmuran Dābī) is a 2010 Japanese Flash baseball video game published at the Walt Disney Pictures website. The player controls Pooh in order to defeat his eight friends in a baseball match. The Japanese version of the game won cult following in early 2013 and became a viral hit due to its extreme difficulty.[1]

There are eight stages; each stage has Pooh go against his friends, each of which have differing playstyles. The goal of the game is to knock a certain number of balls out of the park in each round. The player can purchase upgrades for their speed (Which allows the player to move towards the ball more quickly), accuracy (Which makes it easier and more forgiving for the player to hit the ball) and strength (Which sends the ball further when hit) as they earn points throughout the stages. Each stage is more difficult than the last.

Round 1 - Eeyore : In this round, the player must knock 3 out of a possible 10 balls out of the park. As the first opponent, Eeyore's strategy is simple; he throws the ball forward slowly. There are no special gimmicks to Eeyore's round, as it is meant to introduce the player to the gameplay.

Round 2 - Lumpy : In this round, the player must knock 5 out of a possible 15 balls out of the park. Lumpy's strategy is very similar to that of Eeyore; the only significant difference between the two is that Lumpy's throws are faster than those of Eeyore.

Round 3 - Piglet : In this round, the player must knock 8 out of a possible 20 balls out of the park. Once again, Piglet has very little variation from Eeyore and Lumpy aside from a slight increase in the speed of his throws.

Round 4 - Kanga and Roo : In this round, the player must knock 12 balls out of a possible 25 out of the park. This round has a sharp increase in difficulty; when Kanga and Roo throw the ball, it will hover up and down as it moves towards the player, making it more difficult to hit.

Round 5 - Rabbit : In this round, the player must knock 15 balls out of a possible 30 out of the park. When Rabbit throws the ball, it moves extremely slowly through the air at first, and then zooms towards the player. This round is heavily focused on the player's timing.

Round 6 - Owl : In this round, the player must knock 19 balls out of a possible 35 out of the park. When Owl throws the ball, it moves in a zig-zagging pattern towards the player, making it extremely difficult to hit.

Round 7 - Tigger : In this round, the player must knock 28 balls out of a possible 40 out of the park. When Tigger throws the ball, it moves normally towards the player, but it turns invisible soon after it is thrown. Like in Rabbit's round, this round is heavily focused on the player's timing.

Special Round - Christopher Robin : In the game's final round, the player must knock 40 balls out of a possible 50 out of the park. Christopher Robin can use any of the techniques seen in previous rounds when throwing the ball, making this round much more difficult to predict. This round requires a mastery of the techniques seen in each of the previous rounds.
