William Dixon Allot

William Dixon Allot was Mayor of Adelaide 1873-1874.[1][2]

Brief Summary

The year 1840 saw the first local government in Australia with the election of a mayor, three aldermen and fifteen councilors to the new Adelaide Corporation with James Hurtle Fisher as the first mayor who ran office from 1840 to 1842. William Dixon Allot was the 18th mayor of Adelaide.[1]
