Wellington Lacrosse Open
The Wellington Lacrosse Open was the first national lacrosse tournament hosted by the Wellington Lacrosse Association. Entry was open to men's, women's and mixed lacrosse teams throughout New Zealand.
The Open was held over the weekend of 26-27 January 2008, featuring Women's, Mixed and Men's Lacrosse games, as well as an exhibition game by the New Zealand National Woman's Team.
The event is notable as the first, national lacrosse tournament operating in New Zealand including teams from every regional lacrosse administration body.
