"We Got the Party" is the fourth single from Hannah Montana 2.

This song was first performed on the Hannah Montana episode "Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas," where the Jonas Brothers appear asking Robbie Ray to write a song for them and Hannah sings this song with them at the end of the episode. The version featuring the Jonas Brothers is only available in the special Rock Star Edition of Hannah Montana 2 and in the reissue of the Jonas Brothers second album Jonas Brothers: Bonus Jonas Edition. On the Best of Both Worlds tour, this was the only song to be performed by both Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.

Miley Cyrus performed the song with the Jonas Brothers at Dick Clark's New Year Rockin' Eve television special on December 31, 2007, and also on their U.S. tour.

Critical reception

"We Got The Party" received good reviews from critics, where I choose to have a music video with a second version with the Jonas Brothers, which will be released on Hannah Montana 2.

Chart performance

As it was released as a single, "We Got The Party" received exclusive airplay on Radio Disney, thus its chart appearances consisted mainly of digital downloads. Following the release of the Hannah Montana soundtrack, the song entered Billboard's Hot Digital Songs Chart at number forty-one, which led to an appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 on the week ending November 11, 2006.[2] "We Got The Party" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at its peak of eighty-one, thus becoming one of the songs to make Cyrus the first act to have six songs debut on the Billboard Hot 100 in the same week. It was also one of the seven songs to make Cyrus the female act with the most songs charting in the same week. It dropped from the chart in the succeeding week. The song also peaked at number sixty-two on the now-defunct Pop 100 Chart.[3]

Music video

The music video for "We Got The Party" was released in 2007 to Hannah Montana 2 and not accepted as they put it in Hannah Montana 2: Non-Stop Dance Party.[4] This song was video of a pure version and that version was coupled to the Jonas Brothers and lansoprazole the music video for "We Got The Party" Hannah (Miley) wanted to record a single version that version was recorded during their "Best Of Both Worlds Tour "but the song does not sing it alone because she remembered her former boyfriend Nick Jonas" and so it was changed to "Rock & Roll All Night" with Aly & AJ.[5]
