Walton Construction

In 1985, Greg Walton founded Walton Construction, a privately owned construction company, in Kansas City, Missouri. In two decades, Walton has become one of the top 100 general contractors in the United States, according to Engineering News Record, with annual revenue exceeding $800 million. Among the major projects Walton Construction has worked on are the Legends at Village West in Wyandotte County, Kansas, and the Zona Rosa mixed use development, along with many others. Walton Construction moved its headquarters to New Orleans and later changed the name to WCC Companies in 2010, after selling certain assets to Core Construction, based out of Phoenix, Arizona.[1] The former President, William G. Petty still owns the majority of WCC and also formed WGP Associates, LLC, a management consulting firm and WGP Construction, LLC, a general contractor in 2012.[2] [3] Both companies specialize in federal construction contracting and difficult relet contracts. The companies operate on an international basis and are headquartered in Metairie, Louisiana.
