Walter Forde (21 April 1898, Lambeth, London, England, United Kingdom 7 January 1984, Los Angeles, California, United States)[1] (born Thomas Seymour Woolford) was a British actor, screenwriter and director. [2] Born in Lambeth, South London in 1898 he directed over fifty films between 1920 and 1949.[1] [3]
