WREE (92.5 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits format. Licensed to Urbana, Illinois, USA, the station serves the Champaign area. The station is currently owned by Saga Communications of Illinois, LLC and features programming from CNN Radio.[2] The station slogan is "92.5 The Chief - The Chief Plays What The Chief Wants." Music broadcast on the station ranges from the 1960s to the 1990s.

The station changed formats in May 2005, after a long run of being an Oldies Rock n' Roll station. The switch left Champaign without an oldies station until March 2013, when WUIL flipped from Active Rock to Oldies-based Classic Hits and bought back the WKIO calls. WCFF is owned by Saga Communications of Illinois. WCFF broadcasts the Chicago Bears.

In the 1980s, the station broadcast oldies during the day and rock music at night. Their slogan was Oldies by Day, Rock by Night.

In recent years, the station has played all-Christmas music, beginning on Thanksgiving Day and continuing until Christmas.

On January 25, 2015, WCFF changed their call letters to WREE.

On February 23, 2015, WREE began stunting and then launched a 1980s-centric classic hits format branded as "Rewind 92.5".[3]
