Vijay Adhiraj is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil films and serials. He rose to fame starring in television serials, while he also participated in the reality dance show Jodi Number One during season 1. He made his debut as director with Puthagam (2013).[1][2]

Career

Vijay Adhiraj made his acting debut starring in television serials, before going on to feature in films including Ponnu Veetukkaran and Roja Kootam. Throughout the 2000s, he became an established television and live event host.[3]

He went on to finish runner up in the reality dance show Jodi Number One during season 1 alongside his wife, Rachana.[4][5] He has since directed a film, Puthagam, which starred Sathya, Jagapati Babu and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Vijay Adhiraj noted that he had written the script in 1998 but was advised by his peers, including Crazy Mohan, to wait before launching the production.[6] The film had a low key release in January 2013 and won average reviews from critics.[7] He hosted many famous function include Littleshows award.,[8] Dr Hemalatha Sheroes Awards 2014.

Career

He has acted in various Advertisements. He has starred forPidilite,Hayaghrivas Silks opposite the famous Indian actress Asin Thottumkal.
