Veltrusy (Czech pronunciation: [ˈvɛltrusɪ]; German: Weltrus) is a small town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is situated 25 km north of Prague, and it has about 1,600 inhabitants.
An interesting château (Veltrusy Mansion), which is surrounded by a large forest park, borders the town. The château is open to the public for visits.
