Vania Larissa

Vania Larissa (born November 18, 1995 in Pontianak, West Kalimantan) is an Indonesian singer and beauty queen. She won Indonesia's Got Talent 2010 held in Jakarta Miss Indonesia 2013 held in Jakarta.^[1] This is the first time Miss West Kalimantan has been awarded the title. She represents Indonesia in Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia in September 2013.

Vania is also a professional singer who sang since 9 years old. She was majoring seriosa music and won a local singing competition in 2010 and a national singing competition for students in 2008.^[2] She is also a winner of the Indonesian (variety) talent show, Indonesia's Got Talent on 2010 presented by Indosiar and Fremantlemedia,^[3] making her the only Indonesian woman who won both a national talent show, a national beauty pageant show and the talent show in Miss World 2013.^[4]

Miss Indonesia 2013

Vania Larissa represented West Kalimantan in Miss Indonesia 2013 held on February 20, beating the other 32 contestants. It was held at Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran. As the winner, she gains the right to represent Indonesia in Miss World 2013.

Miss World 2013

Her victory in Miss Indonesia 2013 makes her an eligible representative for Indonesia in Miss World 2013, and also the host delegate in the pageant. Vania made into the Top 10 semifinalist in Beach Fashion, and also became the first ever Indonesian to win the Talent Competition. On final night, Vania scored 172 points for her interview and was ranked 7th overall. She made into the Top 10, but failed to make into the final cut.
