Vanessa Cootes (born July 26, 1969) is a former female rugby union winger. She played for New Zealand at an international level and for Waikato provincially. She was in the 1998 Women's Rugby World Cup champion squad. Cootes scored four of the Black Ferns eight tries in the 1998 final.[1]
