The University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Business was founded in 1941 with the mission to create and disseminate knowledge that significantly influences and enriches the students, the community of business scholars and the global world of business practice. The UConn School of Business offers programs in a variety of functional disciplines — Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Operations and Information Management. The School's interdisciplinary centers in real estate, health systems management, international business, and entrepreneurship have gained widespread recognition for their research and service. The UConn School of Business has evolved into a comprehensive business school offering academic programs at the bachelors, MBA, Executive MBA, doctorate and advanced certificate levels, spanning four Connecticut locations — Storrs, Hartford, Stamford, and Waterbury.

The UConn School of Business has been continuously accredited by AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business - since 1958.
