Universal Television (Somalia)

Universal Television is a Somali television channel. With its studio in London, it is the first and largest Somali TV satellite network of its type.[1]

History

In 1993, when the Universal Television, Somali's television channel in the town of London had build a 20 kW transmitter an 80 kW ERP Power transmission so that the signal with become more powerful than other transmitter. In 1995, he test color transmission, and now in 1995 the color broadcasting has been used so that it will became it's new color transmission to present day. Later in 2008, Eastern Television Network acquired so that the subsidiary will became it's new leader. Then in 2009, the Standard Definition was upgraded from 480i to 576i. In 2010, it's now in High Definition so that the newest television sets had been settled.
