Udi is a Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the city of Udi on the A232 highway.

It has an area of 897 km² and a population of 234,002 at the 2006 census.

The postal code of the area is 401.[1]

It was the subject of the 1949 documentary film Daybreak in Udi.
