USS Billings (LCS-15) will be a Freedom-class littoral combat ship of the United States Navy.[1] It will be the first ship in naval service named after Billings, Montana.[4]
Marinette Marine was awarded the contract to build the ship on March 4, 2013.[1] Construction began on October 20, 2014, with an expected delivery date of 2017.[5]
