Tysen Dowzak (born March 8, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Dayton Gems of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Playing career

Dowzak began his major junior career with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL in 2005–06.

On October 14, 2008, after an excellent rookie tournament,[1] Dowzak was signed as a free agent by the New York Rangers.[2] On October 4, 2010, he way assigned by the Rangers to the Dayton Gems of the CHL.[3]
