Professional career

Denver Broncos

Tyler Everett entered the NFL with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in the 2006 NFL Season. He was cut by the Broncos after the preseason.

Chicago Bears

The former Ohio State Buckeyes safety was signed to the 53 man roster from the practice squad in order to bolster the safety position following injuries to strong safeties Mike Brown and Todd Johnson. If the Bears had won Super Bowl XLI, Everett would have won a championship at the high school, college and professional levels. As they lost, this honor went to fellow Canton McKinley High School and Ohio State grad, Colt safety Mike Doss.

Minnesota Vikings

Everett signed to the practice squad of the Minnesota Vikings prior to the start of the 2007 NFL Season.

Edmonton Eskimos

Everett signed with the Edmonton Eskimos on May 25, 2009. He was released on June 6, 2009.
