Tucky Williams is an award-winning actress best known for portraying Evan in the web series Girl/Girl Scene,[1] as well as the zombie slayer Vix in the cult horror film Dead Moon Rising.[2]

Career

Williams was the creator, writer and executive producer of the web series Girl Girl Scene. She played the lead character, Evan.[3]

Tucky made her directorial debut with the short film Juliet and Romeo, an LGBT version of Shakespeare's original work.[4][5]

Her most recent project is Dagger Kiss, a lesbian take on the fantasy genre.[6] The first episode premiered February 14, 2016.[7]

She produced and acted in the short film Othello: Desdemona's Death.[8][9]

She portrayed Vix in the zombie film Dead Moon Rising.[10] She began her film acting career as the female lead in Shadows Light.[11] She also had featured roles in the films Red River and Blink,[12] and appeared as herself in the documentary Welcome to My Darkside!

As a meteorologist, she has worked on-air for the ABC affiliate station in Lexington, Ky.[13] She also works as a yoga instructor.[14]

Awards and honors

Williams was named as one of The Advocate's 40 Under 40, a list of "budding powerhouses, leaders in media, politics, sports and science... architects of the next decade"[3]

She was awarded Best Screenplay for Girl/Girl Scene at the World Independent Film Expo.[15]

In 2012, she made the top ten on the AfterEllen Hot 100, a list of "the hottest 100 women on Earth"[16]

Personal life

Williams has been vocal about having epilepsy. She used her experiences with epilepsy as a plot for her character on Girl/Girl Scene.[17]

She began college at the age of fifteen. She studied meteorology and journalism.[17]
