Trams in Nanjing

Nanjing tram is the tram system of Nanjing city in the Jiangsu of the China. Of two lines, one opened for service in August 2014, and another is under construction.

Lines

Hexi trams opened on 13 August 2014. Line of Qilin trams is under construction.

Hexi trams

The starting point of the Hexi tram line is located at the Nanjing Metro Line 2 Olympic Stadium East Station. The other terminus is located in Hexi, 7.76 kilometers (4.82 mi) away. The tram stops at Olympic Stadium East, Fuchunjiang, Yuantong, Convention and Exhibition Center, Jiangshan Road, Youyiqiao Children's Hospital, Huanghe Road – Pingliang Avenue, Tianhe Road, Huaihe Road, Tianbao Road, Honghe Road, Baoshuangjie, and Qinxin Road, for a total of 13 stations.

Transfer is available to Nanjing Metro Line 2 and Line 10 at Yuantong.[1]

Qilin trams

Qilin Tram, with a total length of 9.4 kilometers (5.8 mi), runs between Maqun Station on Line 2, Nanjing Metro and Wangwuzhuang Station. It has 13 stations; one of them is a high-level station, when the rest are surface-level stations.[2]
