Álvaro Luis Bernat Dalton (born February 13, 1975) is an American-Mexican theater and TV actor as well an accomplished screenwriter and producer.
Career as an actor
Tony Dalton studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York. During this period he participated in small Off Broadway productions such as "The Ballad of the Sad Café" and "A Streetcar Named Desire," among others. He acted as an extra in the movies Minotaur and Scriptfellas. Back in México, Dalton gained notoriety for having produced and acted in the TV series No te Equivoques (2001), as well as in the soap operas: Ramona (2000), Clase 406 (2002) and Rebelde (2004–2006).His first successful film venture was "Matando Cabos" (2004), the first production of Lemon Films, where he enjoys a starring role and also co-authors the screenplay. From there, he continued as an actor, appearing in Volver,Volver(2005), Mujer Alabastrina (2006), Efectos Secundarios (2006) and an episode of the TV series 13 Miedos (2007). In 2008, he lands roles in Love, Pain and Vice Versa and Amar in 2009. In 2010, lands a part in the short film "Mano a Mano," directed by Jose Barrera. Among the many roles he has during this time period, he places emphasis Sultanes del Sur (2007), an action movie shot in Mexico City and Buenos Aires in Argentina, where besides playing the main character, Dalton also writes the screenplay. His most recent work on television was the hit series Los Simuladores, where he is one of the protagonists—Mario Santos (logistics and planning)—, along with Alejandro Calva, Arath de la Torre and Ruben Zamora. In theater, his most recent work was the play " El Año Próximo a la Misma Hora", where he worked with Alejandra Barros. The play was a great success and reached over 200 performances in Mexico City. (2011) Flor Salvaje Dalton was the antagonist of the Telenovela beside Monica Spear, Roberto Manrique,Jose Luis Resendez, Norkys Batista and Gregorio Pernia. The telenovela was recorded at Colombia. (2015) (Dueños Del Paraiso) in 2015 he's the co-protagonist of telemundo' new series "Dueños Del Paraiso"
