Olivia Tisha deCarlos Silang (born November 6, 1975) or simply known as Tisha Silang is a beauty queen turned TV host turned businesswoman who joined in the 3rd season of The Amazing Race Asia where she and her teammate, Geoff Rodriguez took the 2nd place.
Binibining Pilipinas
In 1998, Tisha was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1998, but resigned due to her Canadian citizenship. Jewel May Lobaton, the First Runner-up, was selected as the Philippine representative in the Miss Universe 1998 pageant held in Honolulu, Hawaii.[2][3]
Showbiz career
After the Binibining Pilipinas, Tisha had the opportunity to work as a TV Personality in several shows of GMA Network. She was included in the morning news and talk show Mornings @ GMA[4] which was shown every morning. She also had some other hosting and modeling career.
The Amazing Race Asia
The third season of The Amazing Race Asia started from ten pairs of racers from different countries of Asia. Mainly, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and India.
They were the only team who used Yield and U- Turn in the race.[5]
Tisha and Geoff finished the race placing second to Sam Wu and Vince Chung of Hong Kong, who placed first.
