Overview

Timeline Interactive was a game development company based in Cairo Egypt that was established in 2005. The company is privately held and financially backed by the Technology Development Fund and EFG-Hermes.[1] Timeline Interactive is known for having previously participated in the development of the Reality Engine acquired by Epic Games, and having developed the initial prototype for Monster Madness (an Xbox 360 video game title released by SouthPeak).

CellFactor: Psychokinetic Wars

The company’s most notable achievement, however, is its co-development of the IP for the CellFactor franchise with Immersion Games. CellFactor is based on a core concept of using psionic abilities, such as telekinesis, in a first-person shooter game franchise. The franchise began with CellFactor: Revolution, a demo game designed to show off the multiple physical effects of the AGEIA graphics card. The next installment in the franchise, CellFactor: Psychokinetic Wars,[2][3] was released as a downloadable title for both Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
