The Ultra-Violence is the debut studio album by the Bay Area thrash band Death Angel, released in 1987.[3] The album was recorded while all members were under 20, with drummer Andy Galeon just 14 years old. A snippet of the title track "The Ultra Violence" can be heard on a Carl's Jr. commercial for their Jalapeño Turkey Burger.
The title could be a reference to Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange.
