The Secret of the Magic Gourd (2007 film)

The Secret of the Magic Gourd (Chinese: 宝葫芦的秘密), or The Magic Gourd, is a live-action/CGI animation movie made in 2007 by Centro in co-operation with China Movie Co Ltd and Disney.

The Secret of the Magic Gourd is Disney's first CGI/animation full-length feature film produced for the Chinese mainland market.

The films DVD release date in the United States was on January 27, 2009. The English dubbed version of the film features Corbin Bleu as the voice of the Magic Gourd and Drake Johnston as the voice of Raymond.

. The Gourd's name is "Bailey."] The movie starts with an unusual dream of a young student named Raymond Bao, who is on a mission in space when meteorites attacks de repente on their spacecraft, their mission was to rescue the astronauts and return to earth. But his grandmother keeps narrating the story to Sofy while in his room, when soon enough Raymond falls asleep. Soon he starts dreaming, that he went fishing in a bamboo forest where the fish had pumpkin, Raymond found that frightening at the beginning, until the gourd told him that it was calledBailey, and it wants to help him. It offered him a deal that, if he does not tell anyone about him, he will put fish in his bucket as food. Raymond tells Bailey that he wants to show the fish to his friends, in the park of the school, a friend of Raymond John had frightened him, and Raymond teach them the fish, they wonder how can the goldfish be in a lake, so the teacher suggests to them that should go to the library.
