The People : Official Organ of the Australian Socialist League was a weekly English language newspaper published in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

History

The People : Official Organ of the Australian Socialist League is thought to have begun in 1900 and was published by the Australian Socialist League. It changed title in 1919 to The Revolutionary Socialist published by Socialist Labor Party of Australia. It absorbed the Victorian publication One Big Union Herald and ceased around 1930.[1]

Digitisation

The various versions of the paper have been digitised as part of the Australian Newspapers Digitisation Program[2] project hosted by the National Library of Australia.[3]
