The Millennium University College is a private for-profit university college located in Islamabad, Pakistan, It provide's qualification's primarily through the University of London, in addition through the University of Hertfordshire. Along with course's from the City & Guilds of London Institute and Edexcel. It is part of the Roots Millennium Education Group.[1][2]

It provides undergraduate, graduate, professional, vocational and skills higher education. It is currently a provider of transnational education; having collaborative, and affiliation arrangements with foreign institutions with professional and higher education portfolios, such as University of London, Higher National Diploma, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and others. All the University of London International Programmes are recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq is the idea sponsor and rector of the institute.[1][2]

History

The Millennium University College is an ISO 9001:2008 certified educational institute.[3] It is a project of Roots Millennium Schools, built to cater undergraduate students with professional qualifications and diplomas.

Campus and Student Life

It is built at mainland H-11 university district of twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The building is 125,000 square feet of covered area and is set over 7 floors. Comforts include reading library, technology lab, indoor gym, city’s famous branded café Rock Bistro, Coffee and stationery shop, lecture rooms, self-study rooms, an auditorium called ‘The Forum’, interactive classrooms with digital boards, flexible seating, interior designed and furnished by city’s leading architects, disabled access, teachers area, prayer room, mock court room, chill out room, research room, fashion lab, Indoor gaming room, refectory, sun room, private indoor networking area, roof top gardens, free WiFi access, newspapers, magazines and periodicals reading area, gadgets charging area and underground car parking facility for 50 cars coupled with lifts and modern security, access, fixtures and fittings.[4]

Student life includes a variety of activities, ranging from various student societies, such as, community services, fashion, sports, literary, science, business, debates, dramatics, and laws society. Students organize various seminars, conferences, and events throughout academic calendar.[5]

Accreditation & Affiliation

The Millennium University College is an affiliate center of University of London International Programmes,[6] an approved center of edexcel for Business and Technology Education Council qualifications, approved learning partner of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and approved learning partner of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. It was selected as one of the Arabia 500 fastest growing organizations in year 2012.[7]
