The Famuan

The The Famuan newspaper was established more than 100 years ago and has a circulation of about 8,000, serving Florida A&M University and the greater Tallahassee community.

The Famuan is the student-ran campus newspaper at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. The newspaper has news, opinion, lifestyles and sports sections. The newspaper also publishes a graduation issue for seniors (spring) and a survival guide (fall) for new students each year.[1]

The Famuan was once published three times a week[1] on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the fall and spring semesters. The Famuan has recently become a digital, multimedia outlet as well, with the creation of their website, www.thefamuanonline.com, which is updated consistently with new FAMU and Tallahassee Community news.

The Famuan is one of four student media outlets at FAMU, the others are Journey magazine, FAMU TV-20 and WANM 90.5 The Flava Station.
