Faced with the hardships of being short, Timmy wishes to become an adult, but with unsatisfying results as he becomes an older man. Then, after being informed that Cosmo and Wanda will be reassigned to a new child since fairies can only grant wishes to children, Timmy, with their help, must find his inner child in order to wish himself young again.

Tired of his games being too childish, Timmy wishes for the most challenging video game ever. When Chester and A.J. come over unexpectedly, they end up transporting themselves into the game. Now, Timmy must enter the game himself and survive various levels of difficulty in order to reach his friends. Unfortunately, Timmy's new game uses so much energy that any appliance Vicky uses will cause power surges and most likely shut down the game. Despite this, using help from Cosmo and Wanda, Timmy manages to defeat the final boss (Vicky, of course) and they finally make it out.

After watching an episode of Crash Nebula, Timmy and his friends decide to act out their own version of the episode. Timmy figures the reenactment will be more realistic with an authentic alien creature. To fulfill this want, Cosmo and Wanda conjure up Mark Chang, prince of the planet Yugopotamia. Mark then captures Chester and A.J. (neither of whom know he is a real alien) and develops an affection for Vicky. Since magic cannot interfere with true love, Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda blast off to Yugopotamia to find Mark's parents so they can set things straight and bring Mark home.

Timmy's teacher, Mr. Denzel Crocker, calls for a conference with Timmy's parents for a suspicious show-and-tell project. Not wanting to let his real parents find out, Timmy asks Cosmo and Wanda to pose as his parents. Crocker, who knows that Cosmo and Wanda are fairies, sets up traps for them to prove their existence. However, Principal Waxelplax ends up trapped and gets mad at Crocker in the end.

Now, Timmy must go back to the past again to correct the damage he did to the timeline.

Timmy is being made fun of by Dr. Bender and his son Wendell because of his large buck teeth, so he wishes for everyone to look the same. Everyone then turns into gray, unrecognizable blobs. Since the fairies cannot find their godchildren, they began exploding and turning into dust. When Cosmo and Wanda go out to look for Timmy, they have no luck, and Cosmo turns to dust. Wanda is about to as well, but she finds Timmy, who wishes for everyone to turn back to normal, but even after granting that wish, Wanda still turns into dust.
