The Beyond/Where the Giants Roam is the third studio album from American musician Thundercat. It was released in June 2015 on Brainfeeder and produced by frequent collaborator Flying Lotus along with Thundercat. Despite its length, Flying Lotus confirmed the release as an album rather than an EP.

The album has since received rave reviews from critics, who complimented Thundercat's instrumentation and vocal performance.

The track "Them Changes" was released as a single and received positive reviews and acclaim from critics.

Background

In an interview with Billboard magazine, Thundercat stated that the album was conceived while making Flying Lotus's You're Dead! and Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, stating that the three would share creative ideas for each of their projects.[1]
