Telechips is a fabless IC company headquartered in Seoul, founded in 1999 and its regional offices in Japan, China, and Singapore.[1] It has been a leading fabless company introducing market leading products with cutting edge technology including SoC used in the Smart Car Infotainment (Car Audio, Car AVN, DAB/DMB, Digital Radio), Smart CE (OTT/STB, Tablet, Personal Navigation, ADAS, Mobile TV / Digital TV).[2][3] These chipsets are based on ARM technology[4] and support Android, Windows Embedded Compact, Nucleus RTOS, and Linux. Telechips has been providing SoC for STB/OTT in domestic and global operators and consumer markets. Also, Telechips develops secure and powerful AP for Android/HTML5 based STB&OTT enabling small footprint and low power consumption. Furthermore, Telechips delivers SoC&solutions benefiting users with new experiences and rich multimedia service scenario.[5]
