TeenNick India is a television channel block on Nick Jr India. The block is devoted to pre-teens and teens. It is part of Nickelodeon India franchise. It does not air new episodes and only airs six or seven episodes of series repeatedly. It does not air original Nickelodeon movies.

Nickelodeon India does not air American Nickelodeon live action shows and movies and after receiving many E-mails from fans Viacom 18 decided to launch TeenNick as a block on Nick Jr India.

Format

It is available in all major cable TV platforms in India and few DTH Platforms. Viacom 18 launched TeenNick and Nick Jr. as a single channel on 21 November 2012. It is available on Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV, Videocon d2H, Dish TV, Hathway Digital Cable, Den Digital Cable, DE Digital and In Digital Cable Systems in India. It is available in most local cable services of North India also, however, excluding DTH, the channel has not expanded to local cable networks in South India. This is how the content in the channel is televised: Nick Jr. - 6am - 7pm (English - Hindi) TeenNick - 7pm - 6am (English). Viacom 18 announced the channel on 11 December 2012.

Startup

TeenNick signs-on at 7:00pm with an English song video dedicated to teens, promo, and programmes. The first programme is The Thundermans (7-7:30) followed by Supah Ninjas (7:30-8) and House of Anubis (8-8:30) and Sam & Cat (8:30-9) and so on with other programmes like Big Time Rush, TMNT and iCarly.

Closedown

TeenNick signs-off at 6:00 am with the last programme, promo, and handover to Nick. Jr from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm daily.
