Te Puke High School is a state, co-educational secondary school located in Te Puke, New Zealand. The school serves students from Year 9 to Year 13, and had a roll of 886 students as of late 2014.
Students
The two largest ethnic groups at the school are New Zealand European, which comprises 46% of students, and Māori, which comprises 35%.[3] 52% of Students are Male, and 48% are Female. The school also has an attached unit for students with special needs.
Facilities
In 2013 some re-development took place at the school, creating a main school block in a 'V' shape, with several learning pods on each side, the special needs unit at the tip of the V shape, and a large courtyard in the centre.[4] Each 'pod' can have up to three classes operating within in at a time, and science labs are located between the pods. The school wharenui was also rebuilt.
