Taylor St. Claire (born June 1, 1969) is the stage name of an American pornographic film producer, director and retired actress.[1] She was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2014.[4]

Early life and career

St. Claire was raised in Ohio, and she came to Los Angeles to pursue acting and get into the adult film industry.[2] She started doing men’s magazines in 1994, and then, from 1994–97, she did fetish and bondage videos and B movies.[2][3] In 1998, she started doing adult films with an ex-boyfriend[3] and mostly worked with only other women at first.[2] After she broke up with that boyfriend, she started doing scenes with other men.[2] She entered the adult film industry in around 1995[4] and did her first sex scenes for Randy West's Up & Cummers 19[1] and Andrew Blake's Paris Chic and Possessions.[2] She has also appeared as a feature dancer, and she has been a dominatrix and has previously run a website and a dungeon with Chelsea Blue.[2]

Mainstream appearances

St. Claire has appeared in Virtual Desire (1995),[5] Takin' It Off Out West (1995),[6] Virtual Encounters (1996),[7] Femalien (1996),[8] The Naked Detective (1996),[9] Stripteaser II (1997),[10] and in the television series Click (1997).[11]

St. Claire was among the adult industry workers interviewed in 2001 for Fluffy Cumsalot, Porn Star,[12] a documentary film about the origin of porn stage names.[13] She also appeared in the Showtime cable reality series Family Business in 2003.[1]
