Taoyuan–Zhongli metropolitan area
According to the definition of metropolitan areas used by the Republic of China (Taiwan) government, Taoyuan–Zhongli metropolitan area (桃園中壢都會區) includes the following areas:

However, since the December 25, 2010 readjustments of the municipalities (an adjustment that only affected Taoyuan-Zhongli indirectly, as a small part Yingge Township became a district of New Taipei), the Republic of China (Taiwan) government has abolished the definition as obsolete.[1]
