Educational Qualification

According to party sources he completed his MBA and completed his PGBDM from IIPM. He is presently pursuing another master's degree after his MBA and applied for Doctorate. He is one of the prominent student leaders of West Bengal, India.

Childhood days

According to his followers he did his schooling from Calcutta Boys School and was a very good football player.He was a regular in his school and college football team.Also won various medals in track and field and was also a good badminton player.He also has degree in drawing.

Political activity

He has been an ardent follower of Trinamool Congress supremo, Mamata Banerjee. He has a close association with Subrata Bakshi, Sudip Bandyopadhyay and Partha Chatterjee.Started with District leadership in Chhatra Parishad in Congress, moved to State Secretary of Chhatra Parishad and then became the State President of Pragatisheel Indira Congress student's wing PICP.Then moved on to join TMCP under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee and since then from 2009 he is in TMCP and Mamata Banerjee made him the West Bengal state General Secretary of TMCP, All India Trinamool Student Congress. He is very good at debate and often seen in political debates in various television channels.

Somendra Nath Mitra controversy

But he and Somendra Nath Mitra departed with each other as Somendra Nath Mitra left AITC to join Indian National Congress and have been rivals.Since then Tamoghna Ghosh has been very active in TMC and been an ardent follower of Mamata Banerjee as he was from the beginning.

Political achievements

He has been instrumental in snatching victory from SFI from colleges like Vidyasagar College, Surendranath College Day, Surendranath College Law, Surendranath College Evening, Jaipuria College, Khudiram Bose College, Maharaja Srish Chandra College, Manindra Chandra College, Calcutta Medical College, R.G. Kar Medical College,Anandamohan College, St Pauls and the Calcutta Technical School,Moulana Azad College.[7]

Political controversies

His name got associated with Presidency attack in 2013.[8][9] [10]
