Tadji, Papua New Guinea

Tadji is a small town on the north coast of Papua New Guinea in the Sandaun Province. It is located to the east of Aitape. The town is home to Tadji Airport, built by the Japanese during 1942 and Tadji became the site of Operation Persecution during the April, 1944 when the allies captured the airstrip.
