Ta-Arawakan languages

The Ta-Arawakan languages, AKA Ta-Maipurean and Caribbean, are the indigenous languages of the Caribbean Sea parts of northern South America. They are distinguished by the use of ta- rather than common Maipurean / Arawakan na- for the pronoun "I".
