TV8, is a television station owned by MNG Media Group, which started broadcasting on 22 February 1999. Its current owner is Acun Ilicali. Outside of the terrestrial broadcast Cable TV, Teledünya, Tivibu, Digiturk, D-Smart and satellite broadcasts to reach the audience.

TV8 as a news channel started broadcasting in 2005, becoming part of the format and logo by changing the entertainment channels. The programs include music, entertainment, contests, sports, talk and news.

On 17.03.2016, TV8 announced get the formula 1 broadcasting right for one season.

TV8 is the local broadcaster of TV shows like The Voice, Got Talent, Survivor and Utopia.[1]

In September 2013, TV8 introduced a new logo which makes the number 8 recolored into orange. Unfortunately, the new logo was short-lived because it remained a short use for 12 months.

In August 2014, TV8 dropped the 2013 rebrand and introduced a new logo which does not feature the silver number 8 on a oval anymore. The logo are instead a silver-gradient-glassed number 8 which are shiny and blows up its three coloured curves of red, blue and white. The word "tv" are no more lowercase because it becomes uppercase instead and is connected twize for them. This ended the era of TV8's metal number 8 logo by giving the station a silver-gradient-glassed "8" logo which is created by Racecar and Red Bee Media. The new logo made its first on-air debut on September 1, 2014 by playing a new theme song accompanied by a new slogan saying "Beraberiz".
