T.I.P. Crew is a bboy crew from South Korea. T.I.P. stands for Teamwork is Perfect. Founded in 1996 by Virus (Hwang Dae Gyun; 황대균), T.I.P is the first b-boy crew in Korea.[1] The crew has won numerous awards around the world and are still ongoing to this day. They have also appeared in music videos, movies, TV shows and commercial films.

In May 2010, 3 members of T.I.P. were arrested for feigning mental illnesses to be exempt from the South Korean compulsory military service in which able-bodied men between the ages of 18-35 must serve in the military for a minimum of 2 years.[2] The arrested crew members are Bboy Virus, Bboy Differ, and Bboy Random.[3]

2007 UK B-boy Championship Winners

In 2007, T.I.P. were the winners of the UK B-boy Championships which was held in London. The UK B-Boy Championships are viewed as one of the world’s five major break dancing contests. The others are:

2008 Bboy Unit World Championship

In September 2007, T.I.P. won the country's preliminary round for 2008's Bboy Unit World Championship. They made it up to the finals but then lost against Russian crew TOP 9.[4]
