Sydney University Cricket Club is a cricket club associated with the University of Sydney. It was founded in 1864.^[1] The club plays in the Sydney Grade Cricket competition. Its first Grade Cricket match was against Glebe Cricket Club in 1893.^[2]

Australian Test players who have played for Sydney University Cricket Club include Tom Garrett, Sammy Jones, Johnny Taylor, John Dyson,^[3] and Ed Cowan.^[4] Test players Imran Khan of Pakistan^[3] and Kevin Pietersen of England^[5] have also played for the club.

Australia's first prime minister Edmund Barton played cricket for Sydney University Cricket Club.^[6]
