Sybil Dorsett

Sybil Dorsett is the title character from the 1973 book, Sybil, the 1976 television miniseries of the same name, played by Sally Field and the 2007 television movie remake, also of the same name, played by Tammy Blanchard. Sybil is the fictionalized version of Shirley Ardell Mason, an American psychiatric patient and commercial artist who was reputed to have multiple personality disorder, now called dissociative identity disorder.
