Svetlana Andreyevna Ivanova (Russian: Светла́на Андре́евна Ивано́ва; born 26 September 1985) is a Russian theater and film actress. Her feature film debut was in The 9th Company (2005). Subsequently she starred in such films as Franz + Polina (2006), August Eighth (2011)[1] and others. Ivanova received a number of accolades for the role of Polina in Franz + Polina.

Biography

Svetlana Ivanova was born in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. Into the family of power engineers. Svetlana studied at the physico-mathematical school, worked in a theater studio.

In 2006 she graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (workshop I. Yasulovich). While studying at the institute, Svetlana debuted in cinema, starring in the series "Godson" and "Farewell echo".

The debut took place in cinema in the film "The 9th Company" by Fyodor Bondarchuk.

Since 2011 works in Sovremennik Theatre. 22 March 2012 she made her debut in the role of Patricia Holman in the play "Three Comrades".

Svetlana Svetlana played the main female role in the film "Franz + Polina" directed by Mikhail Segal. And the film itself, and Svetlana as Polina received numerous awards at various film festivals. Ivanova was awarded Special Jury Prize of the Third International Film Festival "Baltic Debuts", the Prize "Golden Sword" for Best Actress at the IV International Festival of Military movie, received Award for Best Actress at the 15th Open Film Festival of CIS and Baltic countries “Kinoshock” and at the XIV International Festival of Film Actors "Constellation" for the role in this film.

Ivanova appeared in the video clips of the music groups “ZNAKI”, “Prologue”, “Kasta” and “Intonatsiya”.

Personal life

She and her ex-husband, cinematographer Vyacheslav Lisnevskiy, In 2012 divorced, have one daughter, Polina (born 2012).
